Maison Rêve

A Victorian Salon Reimagined

Maison Rêve is a historic Victorian home transformed into a Parisian-bohemian salon for Austin’s modern era.  Each room is a vignette: grounded in romantic grays and softened whites, then charged with jewel tones, vintage textures, and curated European art.

The featured art within the home belongs to the intellectual salon tradition — European works from the late 1800s through the 1920s chosen for their depth, allegory, and resonance with the house’s bohemian spirit. Mythic figures like Venus and Circe meet Blake’s mysticism, Jung’s dreamscapes, and Duchamp’s wit, weaving a house-wide dialogue that is as cinematic as it is timeless.

This is not nostalgia and not pastiche. It is an immersive experience — intimate yet cinematic, designed for gatherings, photography, and unforgettable events.

An Artwork of Hospitality

Maison Rêve achieves what few spaces do: it is both maximalist and serene. Each room contributes its own mood while building a through-line of elegance and surprise. Velvet, marble, brass, rose gold, and distressed rugs connect the palette across sixteen unique spaces. Jewel tones rise like crescendos — burgundy, indigo, plum — always balanced by soft neutrals and breathing grays.

The result is a house curated rather than decorated: intellectual yet playful, dramatic yet livable. It offers a visual journey that rewards photography at every turn while ensuring guests feel grounded, comfortable, and inspired.

Maison Rêve is more than a venue. It is an artwork of hospitality — a place where intimacy meets grandeur, and where every gathering becomes part of the house’s unfolding story.
